The credit union also works to take care of the environment. Its quarterly member publications are produced using environmentally friendly materials. The paper is produced from certified fibers from well-managed forests using renewable resources to make the pulp. The mills producing the paper are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. The ink is free of volatile organic compounds, and the coating contains no adhesive or poly additives, just natural materials.
