A resolution seeking to increase the amount of residential fire sprinkler coverage and installation across the state was approved by the House Labor and Commerce Committee. The resolution encourages state agencies and insurance companies to establish incentives for partial and full residential fire sprinkler coverage. House Concurrent Resolution 20 also asks the state fire marshal’s office to adopt a program to rate residences based on sprinkler coverage within the home.
