The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce holds its weekly Make It Monday membership forum at noon Feb. 14 at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel, 401 E. Sixth Ave. Mary Pignalberi, executive director of the Anchorage Fur Rendezvous, is scheduled to discuss Fur Rondy 2005. Cost is $16 for members and $22 for nonmembers. The Kashim Toastmasters Club holds its regular weekly meeting Feb. 14 from noon to 1 p.m. in the training room of the Municipality of Anchorage City Hall, 532 W. Sixth Ave., Suite 700. The Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce holds its weekly luncheon Feb. 15 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Best Western Lake Lucille Inn, 1300 W. Lake Lucille Drive. Janet Craig of the Mat-Su Junior Achievement is scheduled to speak. Cost is $3 for chamber members and $5 for nonmembers. Lunch is optional and cost varies according to the meal. The Mat-Su Small Business Development Center holds Seven Keys to Financial Success Feb. 15 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sutton Public Library, 11317 N. Jonesville Mine Road. Rene Russ, financial advisor with Waddell & Reed, is scheduled to discuss topics including tax laws, developing a business plan and paying yourself regularly. Preregistration is required. The Occupational Health and Safety Administration holds Standards for General Industry between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 15-18 at the Airgas Building, 6000 Arctic Blvd., in Anchorage. The course covers the administration's safety and health standards, policies and procedures. Cost varies according to employer and affiliation with trade organizations.
