Annual military briefing in Juneau today

Alaska’s top military commander, Air Force Lt. Gen. Douglas Frasier, gives his annual update on military activities in Alaska today at 1 p.m. to the House-Senate Joint Armed Services Committee. Frasier is expected to discuss new troop deployments to Alaska and expansions of military facilities. Commanders of the Alaska Army and Air National Guards will join him in the briefing. The briefing can be watched live on KTOO Juneau’s “Gavel-to-Gavel” broadcast coverage (cable Channel 17 in Anchorage, Channel 7 in Juneau).
