American Hyperbaric adds new chamber

The American Hyperbaric Center of Anchorage and Wasilla has added a new hyperbaric chamber at its Anchorage office. The new chamber, with a capacity of up to 16 patients, features a state-of-the-art cooling and heating system, a Med-Lock for transferring medication into or out of the chamber without depressurization, and a digital video monitoring system for outside technician monitoring. Its large size allows for configuration that will accommodate ambulatory and non-ambulatory patients.

Including the new equipment, American Hyperbaric Center operates three chambers in Anchorage and one in Wasilla.
