Catholic Social Services has appointed Mary Beth Oulliber director of human resources. Oulliber holds certification as a senior professional in human resources. Oulliber previously worked for Right Management Consultants. Kjersti Langes has been promoted to director of special needs services. Langes has worked for the organization since 1994, most recently as service coordinator. Stacia Baker has been appointed manager of Charlie Elder House, a home for teen-age boys for whom living with their parents is not an option. Baker has worked for Catholic Social Services since 1983 and most recently served as services coordinator with special needs services.

Consumer Credit Counseling Services of Alaska has reappointed the following board of director members: Ken Baker, Jim Crary, Russ Reno, Fred Traber and Alice White. In addition, the following officers were reappointed: treasurer, Kathy Porterfield; secretary, White; and recording secretary, Annie Heffele.

Graham
Chad Graham has joined the firm of Realty Executives. Graham will be working in the commercial real estate division. Graham, licensed in commercial real estate, will specialize in leasing and sales of office, warehouse, retail and investment properties.

Cobb
ASCG Inc. has hired David White as corporate human resources manager for the Anchorage-based engineering, architectural and technical service consulting firm. White has more than 20 years of experience in human resources. White's experience includes providing employee training and development support services to Arctic Slope Regional Corp. and its subsidiaries. White also completed a one-year certification program in management strategies and skills at the University of Washington, a two-year certificate program in employee assistance/alcohol and substance abuse at Seattle University and a two-year certificate program in employee benefits specialist at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Management. Juliana Cobb has been appointed in-house counsel and director of human resources. Cobb oversees outside litigation, drafts and reviews contracts, and directs human resources functions at a corporate level. Cobb earned a law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Hagen
Dr. Derek Hagen has joined the practicing physicians at Primary Care Associates at its new location, 4100 Lake Otis Parkway, Suite 322. Hagen has earned a medical degree as a doctor of osteopathy, Board Certified American College of Family Practice. Hagen has more than four years of experience in Alaska in private clinical practice.

Joan Kulish, Penny Mosher and Margaret Prince have earned the rating of certified professional secretary from the International Association of Administrative Professionals. Kulish is employed by BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc. Mosher works at the 3rd Wing Manpower & Organization Office at Elmendorf Air Force Base. Carolyn Crouch has earned the advanced certified administrative professional designation. Crouch is employed by the state Department of Community & Economic Development. Attainment of these designations certifies that an individual carries a high level of knowledge and skill of the administrative support profession.

McKee
MacBeath
Northrim Bank has promoted Diane McKee to branch manager at the Jewel Lake branch in Anchorage. McKee previously served as merchant services officer. McKee has more than seven years experience in banking and joined Northrim in 1999. Kim MacBeath has been hired as merchant services officer. MacBeath's duties include analyzing performance and making recommendations on changes, and identifying potential new merchant accounts. MacBeath has 10 years experience in management and banking.

Conrad Lee has been appointed the U.S. Small Business Administration regional administrator for Region X which includes Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. Lee's experience includes working as an engineer and later project manager for the City of Seattle Solid Waste Utility and serving on the Bellevue City Council in Washington. Lee also has owned and served as managing partner of a property management company since 1979. Lee is based in Seattle.

George Divoky, a seabird biologist who has conducted research at the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, was featured Jan. 7 in a New York Times Magazine cover story. Divoky, who lives in Seattle, studied pigeon guillemots at the center during the summers of 1998-2000. Divoky has studied guillemots in Alaska since 1972.
