The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2003 Military Appreciation Bowl-a-Thon from 3 - 6 p.m., Feb. 1, at Center Bowl, 3717 Minnesota Drive. The event serves as a fund raiser for the Military Appreciation Picnic in June hosted by the Chamber. Participants can bowl or sponsor military personnel to bowl. The Soldotna Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 44th Annual Awards Banquet Jan. 31 at the Soldotna Elks Lodge, 44640 Parkway.
