Kimberly Nielsen and Anthony Sullivan of Tryck Nyman Hayes Inc. have received their professional registration in civil engineering. Nielsen has more than 10 years of experience in the engineering field, with experience in project management, engineering feasibility studies, site assessments, and preparing design plans and specifications for marine projects throughout Alaska. Sullivan has more than five years of engineering experience, specializing in transportation engineering design. Tryck Nyman Hayes is a multi-disciplined engineering, surveying and landscape architecture firm, with offices in Anchorage, Wasilla, Fairbanks, Juneau and Kingston, Wash.
Ukpeagvik Inupiat Corp. has promoted Scott Danner to chief operating officer. Danner previously served as vice president of economic development and shareholder relations. Danner, a native Hawaiian, was raised on the Navajo, Hopi and Apache Indian reservations and has lived the past 31 years among the Inupiat people of Barrow. Ukpeagvik Inupiat Corp. is the village corporation of Barrow.
Lenora McKee is the new the assistant branch manager of Northrim Bank's 36th Avenue branch. McKee has 11 years of banking experience. Northrim has promoted Veronica Bridgeman to assistant branch manager of its Jewel Lake branch. Bridgeman has worked for the bank since 1999. Northrim has locations in Anchorage, Eagle River and Fairbanks.
Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union has promoted Judie Miller to assistant vice president, electronic services. Miller has more than 22 years of experience in credit unions, including more than nine years with Denali Alaskan. She was most recently the branch manager at the credit union's financial center branch in Anchorage. Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union is the state's third largest credit union, with nine branches located in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau.
Alaska Regional Hospital has hired Jordan Herget as an associate administrator. Herget has held positions at St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City and the corporate division of HCA, Alaska Regional's parent company. Herget has extensive experience in health care finance and strategic operations. Alaska Regional, with a hospital in Anchorage, provides a full range of health care services in Alaska.
Crowley Maritime Corp. has promoted John Calvin to senior vice president and controller. Calvin has worked for Crowley Maritime Corp. for more than 17 years, and most recently served as a president and controller. Oakland-based Crowley Maritime Corp., is a worldwide marine transportation and logistics services company, with operations throughout Alaska.
Patricia Hardina has joined Birch, Horton, Bittner & Cherot as an associate in the firm's commercial and employment law groups. Hardina graduated magna cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law. Prior to attaining her law degree, she spent 14 years working as a controller for one of Alaska's largest seafood processors. She practices in the firm's commercial and employment law groups. Birch, Horton, Bittner & Cherot has nearly 30 attorneys practicing in its Anchorage and Washington, D.C., offices.
Credit Union 1 has promoted Darrell Aldridge to information technology network and security manager. Aldridge has worked at Credit Union 1 since 1998 and has more than 20 years of computer, electronics and networking experience. Credit Union 1 is Alaska's second largest financial cooperative, with 12 branches in Anchorage, Eagle River, Fairbanks, Soldotna, Ketchikan, Kodiak and Nome.
