The Alaska Natural Gas Development Authority will hold a meeting at 9 a.m. at its office in the JPO Conference Room of the Sunshine Building at 411 W. 4th Ave. in Anchorage. The agenda includes the status of Stranded Gas Act Negotiations and ANGDA's 2006 planning. The public may participate in person or by telephone by calling 1-877-934-3608; when asked for the pass code, enter 190500#. Public comment will be taken at the meeting.

The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce's Make it Monday luncheon will feature University of Alaska president Mark Hamilton speaking on the challenges of maintaining the university system in light of rising insurance premiums, fuel and utilities costs, and health care and retirement costs at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel from noon to 1 p.m. Cost is $17 for members and $23 for nonmembers.
