Alaska Quality Seafood to participate in international natural food show

By the Journal of Commerce

Alaska Quality Seafood will participate in BioFach 2007, the world's largest trade show for organic and natural products, Feb. 15-18 in Nuremberg, Germany.

BioFach features a wide range of organic and natural products showcased by more than 2,100 exhibitors from more than 70 countries. Attending will be more than 37,000 trade visitors from approximately 110 countries.

Strict admission criteria are applied to guarantee consistent high quality from each exhibitor. AQS will market its successful Alaska Wild Salmon Quality System that has been integrated by a number of Alaskan harvesters and processors. In addition, other AQS services, such as seafood inspections, Marine Stewardship Council audit services, and real-time Web-based supply chain traceability will be represented. Natural wild Alaskan seafood is rapidly gaining in popularity, especially in Europe, because of its quality, health benefits and eco-labeling.
