The Kashim Toastmasters Club holds its regular weekly meeting Jan. 17 from noon to 1 p.m. in the training room of the Municipality of Anchorage City Hall, 532 W. Sixth Ave., Suite 700. The Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce holds its weekly Must Be Tuesday luncheon Jan. 18 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Best Western Lake Lucille Inn, 1300 W. Lake Lucille Drive. The scheduled program will feature representatives of ITS Alaska. Cost is $3 for chamber members and $5 for nonmembers. Lunch is optional and cost varies according to the meal. The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce holds its Brown Bag Lunch Series at noon Jan. 18 at the chamber's boardroom, 441 W. Fifth Ave., Suite 300. The schedule program will feature speed networking. The Greater Palmer Chamber of Commerce holds its weekly membership luncheon at noon Jan. 19 at the Palmer Moose Lodge on the corner of Cobb and West Geranium streets. Elaine Maimon, chancellor of the University of Alaska Anchorage, is scheduled to speak. Cost is $12 with lunch or $3 without lunch for chamber members.
