The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce will hold its weekly Make it Monday Forum at noon Jan. 12 at the 4th Avenue Theatre. Dan Fauske of the Alaska Housing Finance Corporation will speak on "The Impact of the Housing Market on the Local Economy and the role of Alaska Housing Finance Corporation." The Anchorage Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction meets Jan. 12 at the WestCoast International Inn, 3333 W. International Airport Road in Anchorage. Dinner is at 6 p.m.; the progam begins at 7 p.m. Dinner prices vary according to the menu. The speaker is Harvey Whitehead, an area safety trainer and consultant. The Foraker Group offers a training seminar Jan. 12 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the ConocoPhillips Building in room ANO 259. The seminar is the ConocoPhillips/United Way of Anchorage Leadership Series titled, "Program Evaluation - How You Know if You Are Accomplishing Your Mission." The program is being presented by Paul Beaudet, associate director of the Wilburforce Foundation in Seattle. Cost is $25 for Foraker Group partners and $50 for non-partners.
