Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union received the CUNA e-learning Merit Award for its products and services manual at the "E-Learning Live!" CUNA Training Conference. Saundra Greenwald, training and development officer, and Dale Fosselman, vice president of corporate development, created a five-course program that was efficient, interactive and multifaceted fitting Denali Alaskan's needs, according to the judging committee.

In its new system, custom courses are available to employees at any time, and can be updated in a quick and easy manner. The credit union's online course gives the employees the most current information, eliminates the need for staff to proctor exams, and automatically enters scores into the employee's transcript.

Denali Alaskan Federal Credit Union is the third largest credit union in Alaska, with more than 47,000 members and assets in excess of $340 million. The Credit Union's 10 branches are located in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau and Wasilla.
