Two gluten-free desserts are on the menu at the next SBS Chef Demo. Chef, caterer and cookbook author Suzette Lord-Weldon will be making Poly Tao and Rice Cake. Poly Tao is like a Mochi dumpling, made with rice flour, rolled in coconut, toasted sesame seeds and sugar. Rice cake is made with coconut milk and sweet rice. Lord-Weldon is certified by the Culinary Institute of America in food and wine dynamics. She owns Rent-A-Chef, teaches cooking classes, caters and is the author of two cookbooks available on Amazon. Taste the dish, ask questions, take home recipes and enter to win a door prize. It's all free and takes place under the green awning, across from SBS main store. Bring a friend!
